The below is Ansley in her own words when she started her blog in 2017:
“I’m Ansley Cochran and I’m 20 years old, born and raised in the great state of Georgia! I’m a God-fearing, dog loving, family obsessed, pure southern girl and this blog is a little glimpse on my life, my faith, and whatever weighs heavy on my heart that day!”
She was so much more than that to so many people but to her parents and sister, she was everything. Her light burned strong and bright from the very beginning and very early on, Ansley’s life was set on a different path.
Ansley was busy fully living her life from the very start. Being diagnosed with Neuroblastoma before 3 years old presented challenges that she conquered one by one. She was determined to never let cancer slow her down and she succeeded with that mission until she passed at home, surrounded by her family, on the evening of May 22, 2018 at 21 years young.
Her perseverance, lively personality and love of Jesus undeniably influenced those close to her. She was talented, loved her dog, the beach, her family, music and her Jeep. She radiated beauty (both physically and spiritually) and was full of life. Her impact and the void of her presence will forever stay with us.
